Thanksgiving
Picture of our Turkey, Tini's Vegetable Casserole, as well as Maggie's Yam Pie and Mashed Potatoes and the Cranberry Sauce. Everything was delicious :)

Snow in Seattle
Wow, we have real snow going in Seattle. Our third winter here and it's the first time the snow actually stays. Of course, since it rarely snows here, driving is even worse then usual. The one very steep hill near our house was closed as a precaution.

Musical Abilities Test
Test your musical abilities on this page:
Click the image to take the 6 Min Flash test or go to Jake Mandell's Blog for more info.
Actually, I took the test a second time with headphones on and got 91.7% - of course it's easier, when you do it again, but headphones help too!
Update: Jake added a survey to the page, where people can submit their results. Check it out. Of course the people, who did well are much more prone to submit their results ;)

Toys Music Licensing Issues
What do you do, when you want to create a cool musical Baby Toy, but you don't want to cut your profits by getting the license to use a real song?
This is my son's toy guitar. It plays "Rock Around the Clock" by Bill Haley and his Comets - Well almost. It's more like "One, Two, Three o', Four o'clock". So it seems they cut so many words out of the real song that they don't have to pay any license.
