Itsy Bitsy Spider
The itsy, bitsy spider, climbed up the water spout.
Down came the rain and washed the spider out.
Out came the sun and dried up all the rain,
So the itsy, bitsy spider went up the spout again.
This is one of the few nursery rhymes, I had at least heard the title before... This is really an area, that you don't learn as a grownup German in the States, but for self-evident reasons, I'd like to ;)
Please note, that in the UK the spider is not itsy bitsy, but incy wincy. Neither makes much sence to me, but I don't think that's what nursery rhymes are for.
What I definitely don't like is for spiders of that size to crawl around in our bedroom!
