Carcassonne

Our newest addiction is playing Carcassonne online. For those who don't know this German (Board-)Game of the Year 2001: Players lay tiles in turns to build cities and roads. By putting your Followers on the them you can claim and thus gain points. Of course you can also try to gain the majority on other player's cities/streets.
We always loved playing it with our Board Game group and only by accident did we stumple upon the PC version: Tini had purchased one of the Extension on CD-Rom, instead of the Board Game she wanted ;)
The good thing: You can download the PC Version of this game and some recommended extensions for pretty cheap at SoftUnity.de.
So I downloaded the base Game to try out the extension and not before long we had purchased all available games (3.50EUR a piece, 3 versions).
Even though the Website is in German, the Games can be configured for English language (see Carcassonne-Online.de).
